Between June 10 – 13, 2025, CERONAV had the pleasure of hosting 15 trainees and 2 accompanying staff members from STC Group in Rotterdam, the Netherlands — an internationally renowned institution specializing in education, vocational training, consultancy, and applied research in the maritime transport, logistics, and port industry sectors. The visit took place as part of an Erasmus+ mobility project.
During their stay, participants had the opportunity to become familiar with CERONAV’s modern facilities, both within the Simulation Centre and the Training Campus. The Dutch trainees attended several training sessions, observing teaching methods and interacting directly with Romanian trainees.
The programme also included visits to key institutions in the field: Romanian Naval Authority and Constanța Shipyard. These experiences provided participants with practical insights into the specific activities of the Romanian naval sector, enriching both the educational and cultural dimensions of the mobility project.
The visit concluded with positive feedback from STC team, who appreciated the high professional standards of the training provided by CERONAV and the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the realities and characteristics of maritime and inland navigation education in Romania.
