CERONAV supports the professional development of its teaching staff through the Erasmus+ Programme

"At CERONAV, our activity is guided by a clear vision focused on the future and excellence. We remain deeply committed to the principle of quality in continuous professional training—a commitment that defines our mission. Through an open, proactive leadership style that is attentive to international dynamics, we consistently capitalise on opportunities offered by European funding and implement projects that significantly contribute to the modernisation of educational processes, strengthening CERONAV's position among the elite training institutions in the maritime sector," stated Mr. Dan Pisică, General Manager of CERONAV.

Between July 2024 and May 2025, nine experts from our organisation participated in learning activities in five European Union member states through the Erasmus+ Programme. Eight of them attended training courses on current and essential topics such as sustainability, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and virtual and augmented reality—fields with a significant impact on the future of education and the maritime industry. In addition, one expert participated in a job shadowing activity at the Novikontas Training Center—a training institution similar to CERONAV—where they had the opportunity to observe, analyse, and adopt best practices from a leading educational environment.

The knowledge gained during these international mobilities strengthened the participants' professional competencies, brought new perspectives, and stimulated the identification of innovative solutions for teaching and training processes. The integration of the acquired knowledge will significantly contribute to the continuous improvement of CERONAV's educational offer, ensuring relevant and modern training adapted to the current needs of the maritime industry and the education sector in Romania and across Europe.
