OPITO courses

Observing the growth of the oil and gas industry and the emergence of a significant market in offshore oil operations, CERONAV began investing in specialized infrastructure and equipment in 2010 in order to support training for personnel working on oil rigs. In 2012, CERONAV obtained its first OPITO accreditation for three courses. Today, it offers a series of seven OPITO-accredited courses, designed to meet the highest international standards for offshore safety and competency, as set by OPITO:

• Basic H2S Training
• BOSIET with EBS
• BOSIET with EBS Digital Delivery
• Escape Chute Training Standard
• FOET with EBS
• HUET with EBS
• CA‐EBS Initial Deployment Training

To conduct the practical modules of the safety training courses for personnel on board oil rigs, CERONAV uses a dedicated 128-sqm training pool with two depth levels (2.5m and 5m), along with one of the most advanced HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) simulators available. The facility designated for OPITO-certified courses is fully equipped with changing rooms, showers, and debriefing rooms, ensuring a complete and comfortable training environment for all participants.
