The general principles governing the professional conduct of staff at the Romanian Maritime Training Centre - CERONAV are outlined in the institution’s Code of Conduct, Ethics and Professional Integrity, which has been developed and adopted at organizational level.
Goods declared as received as gifts in the context of official protocol activities are recorded, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 251/2004, in the Register of Gifts Received, along with the corresponding measures taken by the Ethics Commission. According to the inventory of preventive measures included in the Report on the status of implementation of the measures specified in the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (SNA) and the Integrity Plan, by the end of 2024, there were no records of receipt of goods of the nature of those provided for in Law 251/2004.
Reporting of irregularities and the protection of whistle-blowers acting in the public interest are managed in accordance with Operational Procedure No. 38, which was developed in compliance with applicable legislation, including Law No. 361/2022, Law No. 571/2004, Law No. 78/2000, Law No. 682/2002, and Government Decision No. 583/2016.
