CERONAV provides a comprehensive portfolio of courses for officers, ratings and auxiliary maritime personnel. These include both mandatory courses required for obtaining the Certificate of Competency or Certificate of Proficiency according to STCW Convention, as well as optional training programs specially designed to provide maritime and port personnel with the knowledge, skills and practical abilities necessary to successfully perform tasks on board ships.
Training is delivered using cutting-edge simulators that replicate real-life maritime conditions, offering participants valuable hands-on experience in a safe and controlled environment.
The courses meet the requirements of the Romanian Naval Authority and comply with safety and efficiency standards, thus ensuring complete training in accordance with national and international regulations.
Maritime safety courses for officers, organized in accordance with Order 1252/13.08.2014 and the STCW Convention, include: – initial courses for deck and engine room CoC, CoP and GMDSS, courses for personnel with specific duties on board the ship and courses for personnel on board specialized cargo ships; – refresher courses for maintaining the validity of deck and engine room certificates, as well as courses intended for personnel on board specialized cargo ships; – revalidation courses for deck and engine CoC and CoP; - promotion courses for operational and managerial level.
The courses required for the issuance of certificates of competency and attestations for rating maritime and maritime-port personnel, organized in accordance with Order 1252/13.08.2014 and Order 1375/2023, include qualification or specialization courses for various categories of personnel such as on-board electricians, fitters, pumpers, sailors, maritime pilots, recreational boat drivers, etc.
To address the evolving needs of the maritime industry, CERONAV also offers a wide range of optional, tailor-made courses and training packages upon request.
Additionally, CERONAV performs student evaluations under bilateral agreements with Constanta Maritime University and Mircea cel Batran Naval Academy.
