European Commission representatives visit CERONAV

On October 30, 2025, CERONAV welcomed an official delegation from the European Commission, the Managing Authority, and the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.

The visit highlighted the achievements of the transnational LEARN4SEA project, coordinated by CERONAV, and showcased the institution’s state-of-the-art training facilities.

Guests toured the new teaching and accommodation building, which will provide integrated training and lodging services, and will also host the Environmental Information Centre developed under LEARN4SEA. This center, co-financed by the European Commission, is set to become a key resource for both specialists and the local community.

The delegation also visited the training campus and the simulator centre, one of Europe’s most advanced facilities. The discussions emphasized the importance of European projects and international collaboration in enhancing the skills of naval professionals, while fostering the exchange of ideas and the development of education to the highest international standards.
